We are hiring the first two people to build and sell Ora

248 is hiring its first two people: a Founding Engineer and a Founding GTM Executive. Both roles are full time, in person in San Francisco.

What you would be joining

We build Ora, a restaurant data API refreshed daily across owners, operators, vendors, menus, and location changes. GTM teams at DoorDash, SpotOn, CVENT, and Provi use it to decide which restaurants to call and what to say.

The wedge is clear. The product and sales motion are still early enough for the first hires to shape.

The two roles

Founding Engineer. Turn messy online restaurant signals into structured data. The daily questions are which source to trust, what changed, and how to verify it.

Founding GTM Executive. Build the first repeatable sales motion. The daily questions are who feels this pain now and what proof makes them move.

How to apply

The process is four steps: an intro call, a working session on a real Ora problem with a founder, a founder conversation, and references. No take-home busywork.
