248 is a US-based AI consulting company that works with Fortune 500 companies to design and implement production-ready LLM solutions.

Our in-house agent orchestration, evaluation, and observability platform powers our engagements. We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead testing across our platform and customer implementations.

The Job

You’ll own QA across both our internal platform and external enterprise projects. This includes a mix of manual and automated testing—UI, API, load testing, and more. You’ll be responsible for ensuring reliability, catching bugs before customers do, and setting up the systems and practices to make QA a core part of our delivery process.

The Role

• 3+ years experience in a QA or software test engineering role
• Strong English communication skills
• Proficiency writing backend test automation in Python (Pytest, FastAPI)
• Experience testing frontends in React/Next.js using modern E2E tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with performance/load testing (e.g., Locust)
• Ability to write clear test plans, manage environments, and lead bug triage

Nice to Haves

• QA exposure to LLM-based or agent-based systems
• Experience with AWS-based environments
• Familiarity with SQL, data pipelines, or structured API QA
• Prior work in QA leadership or defining company-wide QA standards
